At Centro, we aim to deliver the public transport services that people want.
Our Draft Integrated Public Transport Prospectus is key to this and the aim is to develop a network of public transport that is easy for everyone to understand and use, with 'turn up and go' services on key routes across the West Midlands, whether they are provided by trains, trams or buses.
To maximise customer satisfaction, we must continue to consult and listen to all our customers (users and non-users) and stakeholders.
We therefore carry out consultations to seek customers' views on our proposals. Consultations undertaken previously include: Hampton in Arden and Marston Green rail Park and Ride extensions and Metro route extensions.
We will post any future consultations on this webpage so please check back at intervals. Alternatively you can be added to our consultation database by clicking here.
Your views are important to us and we look forward to hearing from you.
Partners Centro, Birmingham City Council, Coventry City Council, Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Walsall Metropolitan Council and Wolverhampton City Council are producing the West Midlands Metropolitan Area Local Transport Plan (LTP3).
The LTP 3 will be a statutory document setting out the transport strategy and policies for the Metropolitan Area to 2026. LTP3 will supersede the current LTP2, which expires on 31 March 2011.
A key part of any LTP is its Vision. We are undertaking consultation on our proposed Vision for LTP3 until 18 December 2009, and, as part of this consultation, are also seeking views on the transport issues that LTP3 will need to address.
