The Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003 require all local authorities (including Centro) to adopt a scheme of members' allowances. Such a scheme will specify a basic allowance payable to all members of the authority, as well as other allowances payable to members undertaking additional special responsibilities.

The current scheme in operation for Centro's elected members was approved in June 2009.

Current Scheme - Basic allowance  £3,900
