FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Salary: £40,331 - £45,392

36.5 hours per week

The successful candidate will provide a highly professional financial accountancy service and ensure full compliance with the appropitrate legislation. You will be responsible for determining appropriate accounting policies, production of the statutory accounts and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be the key contact with external audit.

You must be able to demonstrate the following:-

• Significant technical expertise.
• Evidence of advising on technical accounting matters and preparing papers as required to obtain agreement for the accounting treatment of complicated transactions.
• Production and management of the annual accounts within agreed deadlines.
• Experience of managing external Audits.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with qualified membership of ICAEW/S with an aptitude to solving technical accounting issues. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cross team working.
